Jill has helped me through a number of health problems over the past eighteen years, including inner ear infection, shingles and a recent attack of the gut bacteria helicobacter pylorii. I have always found her very caring and responsive. I particularly like her positive 'can do' attitude towards physical ailments and her determination to get to the root of the problem rather than merely treat the symptoms. She has a lot of knowledge at her finger tips. I am also impressed that she prescribed artemisia as an anti-malarial some ten years before it came into general use in the NHS.

I have received both dietary and health care advice from Jill for many years and have found her to be most professional and extremely knowledgeable. I have returned home to the Midlands feeling confident that her diagnosis and recommendations in terms of supplements have been spot on and over a course of time she has proved to be accurate with great results for me. It’s a fair journey for me to go but definitely worth it as I cannot find another practitioner of her calibre, she really is excellent. I have done much travelling and received shiatsu massage by many and yet again Jill is by far the best. Jill walks her talk and is a living testament to her own work. I strongly recommend that when you book a consultation you book a double appointment and receive not only the best nutritional advice but the best shiatsu in the UK.

Nutritional Therapy Services

In a nutritional consultation assessments are made based on comprehensive questionnaires, laboratory testing, nutrition and lifestyle analysis and digestive function. A tailor- made dietary plan is then created, taking into account your likes and dislikes and is focused on raising your general health and any specific issues you may have. Plans may include food concentrates and botanical supplements. Striking a balance can be difficult, and as an experienced nutritionist, I will guide, inform and support you towards optimal health. It may take a little while for your body to respond and come back into balance, although you may expect to see some immediate improvements. Remember, nutritional therapy is concerned with resolving underlying factors.

Laboratory testing may be recommended. This adds useful information to the decision making process concerning your dietary programme. It is also very useful for monitoring progress.

Exercise and nutrition

Good nutrition is a fundamental part of any exercise programme. It is not a good idea to do heavy exercise without considering what type and level of food and drink intake you have. It is also important to know how your glands and hormones are performing, and how strong your immune system is. Don’t let poor diet or a health problem hold back your fitness programme.
