About Jill Hyams Dip.H.C.H.H., M.R.S.S

I am a fully insured and experienced nutritional therapist and also a registered practitioner of the Shiatsu Society of Great Britain and the CNHC (complementary and natural health council). I currently live and work in Muswell Hill and see clients from the North London area.

My aim is to provide practical and easy advice and I am a firm believer that with knowledge, support and the right tools anyone can take control of their health. There is nothing more rewarding than to see someone transform into the healthy, energetic and happy person they have always wanted to become.

In 1988 I first experienced nutritional therapy and kinesiology, which proved to be a major turning point in both my health and my professional life. Over several months I worked with a practitioner to improve my poor digestion, which I had suffered with for years. The combination of increasing my intake of certain nutrients which had been lacking and kinesiology greatly improved my overall health, mental clarity, energy levels and emotional stability.

Inspired by my own personal results I went on to study nutrition at the Howell College of Holistic Health in 1989 where I gained a diploma in nutrition, kinesiology and colon hydrotherapy. I continued to study with Metabolics Ltd., a nutritional and educational company and now attend seminars with various organizations, including Nutri Ltd., Nutri-link Ltd., Genova Diagnostics Ltd and others to continue my professional development and to keep up to date with the latest research.

My initial training in Shiatsu was at the London College of Shiatsu. I then went on to do a post-graduate training at the Shiatsu College. In 2001 I took the gift of Shiatsu to war torn Sarajevo in Bosnia, via the Healing Hands Network. I worked with amputees and some people suffering from post-traumatic stress.
